Understanding Fees
In here, we explain all necessary information about fees on Jetstream.
One of the main advantages of Jetstream is the low trading fees.
Traders should understand that we have no funding fees at Jetstream. By using dated futures instead of perpetual ones, we can eliminate funding fees and make your trading more transparent and less costly.
However, we still have operational (very low) and trading (even lower) fees. That’s all, we do not have any fees for deposits and withdrawals. Pay when you trade. That’s our motto.
Operational Fees
Each executed trade order has a fixed operational fee. We need it to cover the costs of delivery and execution. We won’t provide any numbers here because they may change in the future, so please, visit the corresponding section in our DOCs: https://docs.cvex.xyz/crypto-valley-exchange-platform/fees-and-rewards
But we can share with you some tips that will help to reduce operational fees to make them even lower:
You may use the trusted mode while trading, which means that every transaction will be authorised by our front-end signature. This will simplify the process of delivering the order, thus saving you an additional $0.1.
The same thing with relaxed mode. This feature allows Jetstream to execute your order not immediately but within the next 30 seconds. This also makes the life of our Smart Contract easier, so we will give you a discount.
Traders can submit a set of orders at once. This will help you to save up additional money on operational fees
Pay attention that in case of liquidations or settlement you will need to pay additional operational fees (2% and 0.5% correspondingly).
Trading Fees
Trading fees on Jetstream are calculated based on the order's total value. These fees are split between two funds: the Platform Fund, which supports the platform's operating costs, and the Protocol Fund, which finances rate remuneration, development, and other operational expenses.
You can see how much in trading fees you will pay before proceeding with an order. Just look at the right edge of the screen and find the “Trading Fees” section. For example, for this $100000 valued position, the trader will pay only $3 in trading fees.
Remember that you can make your trading fees even lower. You can read how to do that in our Documentation.
